The Summer Blaze build-up included a 4×4 Experience announced for 26 November 2022 in the Makhonjwa Mountains near Barberton. This associated outdoor event took place away from Ebukhosini Resort and complemented the festival campaign’s sporting and community activities.
A two-day soccer tournament at Ebukhosini Resort was announced for 19–20 November 2022 as part of the Summer Blaze build-up. The programme connected sport in Mzinti with the wider festival campaign. This archive entry records the announced dates and venue.
The Kasi2Kasi activations took Summer Blaze into Lowveld communities during 2022. Coverage of the Magudu gathering described local musicians, small businesses and opportunities to participate in tourism. Further activations were planned across the Lowveld. Exact dates for the complete series are not confirmed.
The 2024 edition of 013 SummerBlaze was advertised for 30 November into 1 December at Mbombela Stadium. It formed part of the festival’s continuing presence on Mpumalanga’s entertainment calendar.
