Ebukhosini Resort hosted a mobile-kitchen handover on 30 July 2022 following a Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa entrepreneurship competition. Sphiwe Nkosi of Tit for Tat and Jacob Silinda of Jacobs Kitchen were named as the recipients.
The initiative supported young entrepreneurs and township businesses. It records another role for the resort: a gathering place for community programmes and local enterprise, alongside its entertainment events.
The seventh Nabalabantfu Picnic was advertised at Ebukhosini Resort in Mzinti on 15 December 2018. Nadia Nakai, Gemini Major and Tshego featured in the announced programme, with Master KG subsequently added.

The Kasi2Kasi activations took Summer Blaze into Lowveld communities during 2022. Coverage of the Magudu gathering described local musicians, small businesses and opportunities to participate in tourism. Further activations were planned across the Lowveld.
